Megan Trezise
Megan is the Director of 3-6 Training at Rising Tide Montessori. She is an Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) trainer and examiner at the 3-6, primary level with nearly 20 years of experience in Montessori. She began in Montessori as classroom assistant and holds a Primary Diploma from the Montessori Education Center-trained by Nimal Vaz, a B.A in Visual Arts and Human Development from Prescott College, a State of Arizona standard teaching certificate, and a M.Ed. in Early Childhood Education from Northcentral University. She has trained adults in North America, Asia and Europe and has had the pleasure of presenting at two of the AMI USA Refresher courses. Megan had spent many years teaching in both private and public Montessori schools. While in the public sector, she moved into Montessori Instructional Coaching for teachers as well as serving as the data specialist for the school’s Response to Intervention Team working with special needs children who were struggling behaviorally and academically. She now specializes in serving children with ADHD and those who have endured childhood trauma within the context of the Montessori Prepared Environment.
