Rising Tide is offering a primary (3-6) teacher training that delivers high-quality Montessori teacher training in a new, mostly online and self-paced format. It is affiliated with the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI), so graduates will receive an AMI diploma.

Online-study blocks rely on Rising Tide Montessori’s library of short videos to allow students to work at their own pace. Course assignments emphasize reflection and connection to the students’ individual experiences and learning styles. Students work collaboratively to design parent-education presentations and align state early learning standards to the Montessori lessons, and they make materials for their classroom with the option of using templates provided from Rising Tide Montessori. Throughout the course in every area, students will learn how to develop a culturally responsive and inclusive Montessori environment for all children.
For those already working in Montessori 3-6 classrooms, observation tasks and student teaching practicum requirements may be done in students’ own classrooms under the guidance and mentoring of Rising Tide Montessori training staff.
