Jessica Zander, loves a strong community: a team that works seamlessly together, friends around the dinner table, neighbors on the block, a board that shares a common passion, or families at school. Upon graduating from the University of Washington, Jessica began her professional life in education and developmental/school psychology with experience in the Montessori environment. After taking wine courses for fun, and then studies with the International Sommelier Guild, Jess switched careers with a jump into the wine industry. Her first focus was on Direct to Consumer Sales before advancing to General Manager of a Washington-based winery. Jessica’s love for Washington wine brought her to board positions with both the legislative and regulatory-focused Washington Wine Institute and Red Mountain AVA Alliance regional association. She is currently Director of Retail and Grocery at Spiceology. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Jessica calls Seattle home, along with her husband and two daughters. She is an avid home cook, enjoys any opportunity to get outside, and (like many in 2020) a new sourdough enthusiast.
