Erin began her career in Montessori as a classroom assistant in 2001. She has 15 years of experience as a classroom teacher with infants, toddlers and 3 to 6 year old’s. Erin discovered early in her career, that the key to working with the young child, was embracing and offering support to the whole family. She has worked for many years as a Parent Educator, facilitating parent-child classes as well as parent support groups. It was through this work that Erin discovered her passion for supporting adults on their Montessori journey. This passion led Erin to work as an Instructional coach, classroom consultant and AMI trainer at the 0-3 level. Erin holds AMI 0-3 and 3-6 diplomas as well as an M.Ed. in Montessori Education from Loyola University Maryland and a BA in English from the University of Mary Washington in Virginia. Erin grew up on Long Island, NY and has lived and worked in schools all over the United States. She has worked on teacher training courses in the United States, the United Kingdom and Asia. Erin has traveled extensively and is proud to say she has friends on all seven continents! Erin lives with her family in Colorado, where she enjoys reading, creating and spending time outdoors.
